Our Mission Statement:
To promote athletic excellence, good sportsmanship and character-building relationships among athletes, coaches and parents.
Who We Are:
We are a group of parents, volunteers, and other interested parties whose purpose is to enrich the MHS Athletic community and the community at large by providing financial support and assistance for MHS Athletics.
The Boosters Club believes strongly that parent involvement during the high school years is an important part of the success of students. With this in mind, the Boosters recruit volunteers to support athletic events and raise funds to benefit the athletic programs. This is accomplished through our annual Swing for Sports event, concession sales, our annual membership drive, and other fundraising opportunities.
What we do:
We raise funds to improve the experience that each of our athletes has at Milton high school. The money is used for educating coaches through workshops, we pay for up to 50% of new uniforms, we have provided tens of thousands of dollars in scholarships, and we provide “fan buses” taking students to tournaments around the state. Some purchases from the past were; new sideline jackets available for all teams, new uniforms for rugby, softball, track; girls lax, volleyball, cheer, and football, just to mention a few, new wrestling mats, ski team starter gate, contributions to the new Wellness center and of course our Boosters Varsity Banquet celebrating all of our athletes and their accomplishments.
How you can get involved:
None of this can happen without your donations and involvement. Register online to be a member at our website www.MiltonBoosters.com. There are membership levels to fit every family’s budget and many different opportunities to participate. Come to a meeting—your voice and vote count. Volunteer in the concession stand and a portion of the profits that day will go to the team you choose. Sign up to be a team representative to be a voice for the coach, and the parents on your child’s team, or join a committee. For more details or for other ways to get involved, email us at email@example.com
